Information You Submit
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. This site does not store those query terms on its own systems. A message sent through email or a contact channel may be retained so we can respond. It is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal website logs and measurement tools may record technical details when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and time spent;
- referring page, when supplied; and
- request timestamps.
Cookies help measure use and support site functions. Browser controls can block cookies, though some features may then work differently.
How Data Is Used
Collected data supports site operation, performance, search routing, troubleshooting, audience measurement, and advertising. It helps identify useful Aransas County release-record pages and technical failures. It is not a substitute for records held under the Texas Public Information Act.
Outside Sites and Recipients
Links may lead to the Aransas County Sheriff, courts, TDCJ, other government portals, and third-party search services. Their privacy rules control after a visitor leaves this site. Advertising partners may measure activity across sites on their own systems.
Personal data is not sold. It may be processed by search partners handling a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security and Age Limits
Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected service can promise complete protection. This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may use the contact route to request deletion of information a minor submitted.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held by this site, request correction or erasure, or object to certain processing. Some information may have to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons. These rights concern site-held data, not public records maintained by Aransas County or Texas agencies.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as services or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted with its new effective date.
